The information is stored as connection property of master and subconnections. Simply call: <file java> LifeCycleUtil.getEnvironmentName(); </file> or, e.g., <file java> LifeCycleUtil.isDesktopEnvironment(); </file> on server-side. This methods are similar to the client-side methods of UILauncher (see [[jvx:client:gui:environment|details]]).
